Harriet's Closet

IMG_4640-panorama

Harriet's Closet offers clients and their families new or "like new" seasonal clothing that has been generously donated by our community. Our goal is to provide the highest quality garments to promote confidence and increase self-esteem for our clients. The closet opened in 2014 and is named in honor of Harriet Kane, a volunteer who has donated countless hours to NSC.

Clients can make an appointment once a month. The appointment is for 30 minutes and clients may choose up to three items for each member of their household.

In addition, special events such as "Back to School" and "Winter Gear" shopping events will take place throughout the year.

Harriet's Closet would not be possible without donations - both clothing and monetary. Donations can be dropped off at the front desk at our Webster Street entrance Monday through Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm

Please be sure that your donation meets the following criteria:

Laundered | new or like new quality | no rips, stains, pet hair | donation should fit inside one shopping bag
