Financial Assistance

Emergency Financial Assistance is available for Natick residents in temporary crisis and need a helping hand. We offer support to clients for rent, home heating fuel, utilities and child related expenses such as tutoring and after school programs through the following services:

Eviction Prevention Services

When rents are rising, NSC helps to keep families in their homes by offering limited financial assistance.

Emergency Utility Assistance

NSC will not let any home go dark or cold when utility costs heat up. Case Managers guide our clients through a variety of options to help them navigate high utility costs.

Work with Eversource to protect clients from utility service shut-offs.
Guide clients through the application process for federal fuel assistance (LIHEAP).
Provide financial assistance as needed.

TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM

NSC helps clients on an individual basis with transportation needs. We review urgent transportation challenges and provide assistance when necessary helping clients with rides to the pantry, appointments or work through public transportation, taxis and ride-sharing services.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE program in collaboration with Natick Rotary Club connects school-age children with financial aid and scholarships for extracurricular programs. Case Managers provide screening and referrals for financial assistance across a host of NSC and Town of Natick programs.

Community and extracurricular arts programs and sports teams.
Referrals to summer camps for children.

TUTORING programs are provided through our partnership with Kids Connect. A nonprofit tutoring program serving the youth of Natick providing educational services in language arts, chemistry, physics, spanish and math including geometry and algebra. NSC Case Managers provide screening and referrals to this program.
